Coromandel International Visakhapatnam Plant Engages Students in Water Conservation Awareness Activities

Visakhapatnam, May 29th, 2025: Coromandel International Limited’s Visakhapatnam Plant reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability by engaging young minds in a water conservation awareness initiatives including drawing and essay writing competitions. The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 100 students, comprising children of employees and students from GVMC High School, Sriharipuram.

The event commenced with the inauguration of “Neer Thottam,” (Water Garden) a newly developed water-themed garden adorned with Lotus and Lily plants, symbolizing the purity and vital role of water in sustaining life. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Gnanasundaram M, Vice President & Head – Manufacturing, Vizag; Mr. D. Nagaraju, Head – Environment, Health & Safety (EHS); Mr. Nagarjuna, Manager – EHS; members of the Coromandel Ladies Association (CLA); and parents of the participating children.
