ESSENTIAL TIPS ON OFFICER HERBICIDE

Officer Herbicide with its unique formulation and features has the potential to control the broad-spectrum weeds in post-emergent application timing. Officer targets transplanted and wet direct-seeded rice crops and eliminates broadleaf weeds, grassy weeds, and sedges in the process.
In order to manage weed efficiently,
• Weeds must be exposed at the time of product application
• The water should be retained for 5-7 days after the application
• Maintain saturated soil condition after the application for effective weed control
• Target 1-3 leaf stage of weeds
• Always mix Spreadmax surfactant
• Use only flat fan or flood jet nozzle
Ensure that one does not
• Over claims
• Under / overdosing
• Pre-emergent application
• late post application; don’t target bigger weeds beyond 3 leaf stage
• Use hollow cone nozzles
• Apply in dry fields
• Allow overflowing of water after application
• Apply on submerged weeds
Officer Stock solution preparation
Step 1: Add 8 mugs of water in a bucket, considering 8 knapsack spray pumps of 15 lit capacity required to spray 1 acre of rice field
Step 2: Add OFFICER @ 1 packet/acre into 8 mugs of water in a bucket
Step 3: Stir the solution well
Officer Spray solution preparation
Step 1: Fill clean water into the spray pump (15 lit) with 3/4th of its capacity
Step 2: Pour 1 mug of the mother solution into the spray pump
Step 3: Stir the spray solution well
Step 4: Add Spreadmax @ 7.5 ml into 15 lit spray pump
Step 5: Top-up with clean water to fill the spray pump
Step 6: Stir the spray solution & Spray and repeat the same process
