To establish closer linkage with the farming community by offering quality products at the right time and providing marketing solutions within easy reach, we forayed into Retail business in 2007.

Today, we have successfully established a network of ~750 outlets across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. Located at mandal headquarters, each centre covers 30 to 40 villages catering to about 5000 farmer families.

We directly reach to ~3 million farmers and act as a ‘One Stop Solution’ for all farmer needs, offering the entire range of Agri input products and services & farm advisory.

Coromandel forayed into the Retail business in 2007 to establish closer consumer relations and enrich farmer lives by offering end to end quality products at the right time and providing marketing solutions within easy reach under a single roof. Today, we have successfully established a network of 1000+ outlets across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu while also foraying into Maharashtra. We have state specific brands for My Gromor basis the spoken language – Mana Gromor for Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Namma Gromor for Karnataka & Namadu Gromor for Tamil Nadu and now Apla Gromor in Maharastra. These centers serve over 3 million farmers by offering a range of multi-branded agri-input products, affiliate agri-services and accurate farm advisory solutions.

In October 2024, Retail entered a specialty Crop Protection Store model – CoroCare which is an exclusive store for Crop Protection Chemicals and special advisory services.

Retail is a multi-brand outlet for various kinds of products and services which provide complete solutions from Seed to Harvest. We promote balanced nutrition and integrated pest management practices through the retail centres along with other agri inputs like seeds, implements, veterinary feed as well as Insurance. Farmers can avail market leading solutions from top brands in the agri-input industry in our stores

What differentiates us in the market are our services, which add an intangible value to farming. Advisory services along with Soil Testing are part of our intrinsic services. We also improve farmer convenience and enhance prosperity by inducing the use of technology through E-commerce with door delivery services, Drone Spraying and Image recognition technologies.

Products

We promote balanced nutrition and integrated pest management practices through the retail centres. Besides our own products, we also offer 3rd party products through our centres to improve choices and convenience to the consumers. This includes nutrients, crop protection, seeds, veterinary products.

Farm Advisory

Our Retail centres provides best in class agri-advisory to the farmers, customized to their crops and locations. The ‘Scientist at the store’ initiative helped in virtually connecting the farmers with the Agri scientists to promote balanced farm management practices. We are leveraging technology solutions in the area of crop diagnostics using satellite and drone imagery. Our site-specific recommendations are supporting precision farming practices and improving farm productivity.

Soil Testing

The Retail Centers carry out more than 50,000 soil tests annually to assess the N, P, K and Organic content of the soil. These results are closely integrated to our ‘Gromor Nutrient Manager’ tool, which offers nutrient recommendations based on crop requirement and soil health.

Farm Mechanization

At Coromandel, we are spearheading the mechanisation mission by forming alliances with global technological leaders and addressing customisation and accessibility challenges. Our joint venture with Yanmar and Mitsui has enabled us to introduce technologically superior mechanisation solutions. Making the machines available on affordable rentals, our Custom Hiring and Service Centres have been acting as farm machinery bank. We are offering land preparation, sowing, spraying and harvesting services through these centres.
